Alaska Native Brotherhood and Alaska Native Sisterhood Grand Camp’s First Resolution of the Year

ANCHORAGE—In its first resolution of the year, Alaska Native Brotherhood and Alaska Native Sisterhood Grand Camp opposed the repeal of the open primary and ranked choice voting system.  Highlighted in ANB and ANS Grand Camp Resolution 23-01:

  • Repealing the system would
    • Subvert the will of voters
    • Exacerbate polarization and hyper-partisanship
    • Centralize power within the hands of small groups of partisan voters
    • Discourage common-sense legislating and consensus-building

For more information, see the full press release here and read Resolution 23-01 here.
